Makgeolli is an alcoholic beverage made of hard-boiled rice and dry cereal cake just like fermented yeast.
As this beverage goes through the fermenting process, it contains high levels of lactic acid bacteria, protein, essential amino acids. The milky, off-white and lightly sparkling rice wine has a slight viscosity with tastes of slightly sweet and tangy.

You'll taste five kinds of this traditional liquor as well as "draft" Makgeolli that you make. You can also take hard-boiled rice and dry cereal cake so that you can do fermentation at home.

Time leaping in history
Bukchon was once a residential area for aristocrats and bureaucrats during the Joseon Dynasty. It is an area so-called called "historic sites in the city" where there are a number of historical and cultural assets, and artists' studios. It is good to walk wherever you can because there are many pretty cafes and shops in every alley. There are many historical sites, such as Gyeongbok Palace and Changdeok Palace and places to must-visit including the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art and Insadong.
You must be aware of Insadong, right?
