    Finding the fun and hip of tradition

    Pansori, a traditional storytelling vocal performance, is said to be a solo opera that one singer expresses a story with sound, words, and gestures along with the rhythm of a traditional drum.

    It is an interesting and easy class for everyone where you will be able to learn a basic vocalization and gestures of the traditional Pansori, singing Jindo Arirang and a part of Heungbuga, one of the most popular folk songs.

    Jenny Seo is a Pansori vocal performer affiliated with ATRA company, who has been active at home and abroad. She will teach Pansori and Namdo Minyo to help you learn traditional Korean narrative songs in easy way for you to learn.

     - 10 min: Explanation on Pansori and Namdo Minyo 
     - 10 min: Basic vocalization of Pansori 
     - 20 min: Aniri of Sarang-ga
     - 10 min: Jindo Arirang and its gestures
