Gwanaksan is one of the top ‘must hike’ mountains in Seoul. It is 629m above sea level and has a breathtaking view and beautiful scenery that you can enjoy from the Yeonjudae peak. You can enjoy the view of southern Seoul while hiking the rocky and green mountains. You definitely do not want to miss looking out for Lotte World Tower from the peak and also to visit the temple located on the top.
After hours of hiking, BBQ is going to be just a perfect meal for lunchtime. We will enjoy one of the most popular Chinese style BBQ in the Nakseongdae street
Hiking Route:
1. We meet at the "2 Engineering Building” bus stop/제2공학관역 in the Seoul National University Gwanak campus
2. We begin our journey and hike towards the Yeonjudae peak in the Gwanak mountain. You will be surrounded by middle-old aged Korean men and women, a.k.a. Ajhushis and Ajhummas enjoying their day hike in the forests. We also have some hiking snacks prepared for you to replenish your energy while hiking! You will get to see the breathtaking view of the southern part of Seoul from the peak

3. After the long hike, we head towards Nakseongdae street to enjoy the popular Chinese lamb skewer barbeque, a.k.a. Yangkochi/양고치!
